TC talks maiden voyage

This being our first blog post, I felt it was improtant to highlight that we are all in a time where almost everything we held to be true or "normal" is being called into question. Our jobs, finances, family relationships and dynamics as well as how we interact with neighbors and friends socially. Some are feeling lonley and isolated while some feel smothered and claustrophobic. Fear and concern over where this is all headed seem to prevail in the news and in our thoughts. So much speculation over how long this will go on and what the world will be like when we have a better handle on all the componets of the the Covid-19 pandemic. What will the "new norm" be? How is this awful event in our history going to affect us moving forward? Is there going to be permanent changes to how we live our daily lives? I've found personally that this has been a huge time of introspection and almost dismantling of many things. How my job has been structured and the role I play in accomplishing it. How i operate in my own household with four people working from home. Trying to find my "space" both literally and figuratively. I've been forced into having to surrender a lot. Surrender the frustration over not being able to go where I want, visit my favorite restaurants and stores or spend time with my friends. I accept that no one has control over what is happening and try to remember that although I may have a sense of losing some freedom - many have lost far more than that from the Corona Virus. Speaking for myself I can say that through the act of surrender I find myself more tolerant of things that once got under my skin. I'm carving out moments of mindful time for myself. Sitting on my deck, listening to guided meditations, working out at home or whatever allows me to connect with my inner workings. I'm not the authority on any topic or circumstance. My challenges in this time are no greater than yours and my words are no more important than anyone elses. Sharing personal thoughts and expereinces can be comforting if they resonate in any way with how others feel. Knowing somone else shares our thoughts can bring a sense of unity and common connection. This is so important at this time. Moving forward we hope to be able to communicate, share, educate or respond to many topics and questions. This blog, new website and online store are the new growth and byprodcuct of a very difficult event. We have to try to grow and learn from challenges in order to keep moving forward and not get stuck. We are very grateful if you have taken the time to read this and visit our website, Facebook page or Instagram. We're here for you as well so don't hesitate to reach out. Wishing everyone peace, well being and health.
